Argostoli, Δευτέρα, 14 Οκτωβρίου 2024– The Natural Environment & Climate Change Agency (NECCA) and the Kefalonia-Ithaca UNESCO Global Geopark in collaboration with the Ionian Center for the Arts & Culture announces that from 14 to 31 October 2024 the exhibition videoART ABORA 3 of the University of Technology of Sydney, (http://www.uts.edu.au/) will be exhibited at the Koutavos Environmental Information Centre in Argostoli, as part of the International Environmental Art Festival ”WE ARE NATURE 2024”. Entrance to the exhibition is free.

The subtitle of the 3rd Australian Biennale of Reductive Art (ABORA 3) is a reference to Ian Burn’s monochrome painting from 1967. Ian Burn was a foundation conceptual artist, curator and writer whose combination of critical art works and politics led to an enduring practice where thinking and the visual are intimately and productively linked. Natural Environment and Climate Change Organization (NECCA) is a Legal Entity of Private Law and its purpose is to implement the policy set by the Ministry of Environment and Energy, focusing on sustainable practices, for the management of protected areas in Greece, the conservation of biodiversity, the promotion and implementation of sustainable development actions and the mitigation of climate change. It is supervised by the Ministry of Environment and Energy, has administrative and financial autonomy and operates in the public interest according to the rules of the private economy.
